Volunteer with Grace
Grace Under the Oaks, Inc. provides adaptive riding and Equine-Assisted Activities (EAA) to adults and children with cognitive and/or physical challenges. Volunteers are the backbone of any equestrian program for people with disabilities.
We are so pleased that you want to become a volunteer at Grace Under the Oaks! Our goal is to provide a long-term volunteer team for each rider, so both the riders and volunteers can benefit from continuity and establish a lasting relationship of trust with one another. A professional, safety-conscious environment for the riders, volunteers, and horses is very important to Grace Under the Oaks. Volunteers play a key role in achieving this goal.
Volunteer training is an ongoing process. New volunteers are expected to complete an application and attend an orientation. No prior horse knowledge is required. We will go over everything you need to know.
