equine member to our team!!
Horse requirements:

Age: ideally 8-16 years, but will consider other ages

Height: 14 - 15.2 hh
-
Sound at walk/trot/canter
-
Must have the right attitude for the job: patient, calm, unreactive and not claustrophobic
-
Horses that have small spooks in place are acceptable, but a horse that bolts or spins is not
-
Horses that have extensive experience off property (shows, trails, etc.) are a plus
-
Gelding preferred

Volunteers needed!!
Grace Under the Oaks is looking specifically for volunteers to join our team every other Monday morning and/or every other Tuesday afternoon. We are ready to serve more individuals in our community and we need your help!
We are currently looking for volunteers to assist with lesson days in the role of "side-walker'' or ''team horse handler."
At this orientation, you will learn about the program, various volunteering opportunities and training for participating as a lesson day volunteer.
Please note that lessons are only offered every other Monday morning and Tuesday afternoon on a rotational basis.
